Edward L. Anderson of West Lafayette, formerly of Attica, age 83, died Wednesday afternoon, February 25, in St. Elizabeth Hospital at Lafayette. He was born in Attica, June 25, 1897, the son of Lars and Christine Johnson Anderson. December 30, 1920, he married Velma Whickar, who died January 11, 1978. A retired farmer, he was a member of Fountain County Farm bureau.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margery Booth of Otterbein; a sister, Mrs. Minnie Carlson of Woodland Manor in Attica; and two grandsons, Dwight Booth of Janesville, Wisconsin, and Gregory Booth of Otterbein.
Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at Maus Funeral Home in Attica with Rev. Gene Polf officiating. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Attica. – thanks to S
